Vision XO Predator Fly Reel

That the Finns from Vision are true predator fanatics has been a fact for many years. And with the XO Predator, Antti Guttorm and his colleagues have now developed a reel that will keep you ahead of the game in both domestic freshwater for pike and co. and in the tropics when fishing for Giant Trevally (GT) and other hard fighting predators.

Vision XO Predator fly reels are milled from a solid block of aluminum and show a very accurate fit, which is reflected in a minimal play and tolerances of all moving parts. Large recesses in the reel and spool result in a very low weight and a distinctive design, which we already liked very much in the classic XO. Due to the Large-Arbor design, the XO Predator offers a fast line retrieve and has a very smooth starting resistance as well as constant braking resistance - no matter how full or empty the spool is. The XO Predator's redesigned, sealed carbon disc brake system makes it neatly sealed, parries rapid runs of heavy predators with ease and sounds lovely with a pleasant clicker. The integrated counterweight closes flush, ensures a smooth ride and prevents you from bumping your fingers at high speeds. Of course, all components are protected against corrosion and 100% saltwater-proof.

The XO Predator is a very harmonious fly reel from the upper league, which will find many followers thanks to its sophisticated technology and chic design. The very large capacity of this reel series is a further advantage and can make the difference between success and failure in emergencies. The black anodized surface looks especially noble and fits to a variety of modern carbon rods. Another special feature in the finish is a target fish engraved on the counterweight - as we already know it from Vision Merisuola fly rods, for example.
