The XL series by Vision has a long tradition - just think about the different generations of XLA and XLB reels. For season 2018 the guys from Finland have worked their butts off to add a new member to the family: the XLV. These very modern looking reels have a proper disc brake package, a real large-arbour design and an EVA handle which provides a solid grip even in wet conditions.
This special edition comes in a cool red and is made for the popular Big Mama fly rods - but will look great on the all black Big Daddy 2.0 too. It's designed for pike rods from class #8 to #10 and features a closed frame, a huge advantage when fishing with shooting heads and thin runnling lines instead of ordinary pike lines.
