The Narrow Spool Perfect is equipped with all the technical features of the Wide Spool Perfect, but with its traditional design it pays homage to the well-known look of the old-timer reel. Tradition and performance are perfectly combined, creating not only a true collector's item, but a very functional piece of equipment. Each reel is equipped with a hand ground, polished and rotating line guard, a noble reel handle in ivory look and a robust one-piece, naval brass spindle. The traditional click-check drag with its loud clicker sound makes not only your heart beat faster when a fish is taking line, but also that of your pool partner. The smooth stainless-steel ball bearings ensure smooth performance. The drag system is also easy to clean and remains a reliable component for the entire lifespan of the reel. The traditionally small arbor design is very different from many contemporary fly reels. Due to the small spindle, the reel has an excellent capacity despite its slim design.
The reel is CNC machined from a solid bar stock aluminum. It is first machined, then polished by hand and deep anodized to make it durable and resistant. Anodizing gives the aluminum blank a durable surface and renders the reel very robust against external influences.
The Hardy Narrow Spool Perfect is available in either left- or right-hand configurations. Beautiful craftsmanship and handmade parts make this reel a true work of art.
