The Guideline Fario Click is a light and delicate fly reel with a smooth-running two-pin clicker system for the finest types of fly fishing. A dream for minimalists and fans of light tackle.
The youngest member of Guideline's successful Fario family is equipped with a gentle clicker brake and therefore saves almost 30g on the scales in direct comparison to its big brothers, the Fario LW reels. That is impressive! Just like the high-quality workmanship of this classic reel. The Fario Click is manufactured with a fully CNC-milled construction and a closed spool cage (full frame). This prevents thin lines or leaders from getting caught between the spool and the frame. Compared to click reels from other manufacturers, Guideline has opted for an adjustable two-pin clicker system, so you can set the drag in three different levels. Just perfect if you want to prepare the your setup for ultra-fine leaders or for fighting big Trout. But let's face it: in practice, a classic clicker system serves more to prevent the spool from overflowing. The pressure is always enough to put any Trout, Grayling or Barbel in its place - thanks to the ball of the hand.
The Fario Click is available in two models, #23 and #45. Compared to the popular Fario LW, they are of course much lighter, but also have a larger diameter and a narrower spool. They have a hard anodised finish in forest grey, so they look very dark in reality, but with a subtle green tint that becomes visible in certain lighting conditions. The reel comes with a protective nylon bag that can also be used when the reel is mounted on a fly rod. An additional clicker and an Allen key for turning the clicker/retriever are also included.
The Guideline Fario Click masters the balancing act between modern and classic with flying colours. An excellent reel that completes any ultra-light rod. The full frame design makes it a great choice for modern Euro nymph fishing and fishing in places where you don't need to rely on 100m of backing on the spool.
