Greys Tail Fly Reel
With the Tail, the product developers from Greys in England present a very interesting member of their reel family. In contrast to the Tail 'AW' (All Water), this reel is intended for use in creeks, rivers and lakes and is designed for fishing for Trout, Grayling and Co. as well as for our local predators.
The Greys Tail fly reel is made from durable Di-Cast aluminium, which is then stripped of excess metal in two separate machining processes to create a modern, high-quality design. The Tail is equipped with a sealed carbon disc brake system that produces a consistent drag force. The sealed brake system is convenient to fine-tune and runs smoothly in the drill. Perfect for fishing with thin tippets!
We particularly like the modern, industrial Large Arbor design of the Tail. It provides a fast line retrieve and the large holes support fast drying of flying line and backing. All models are supplied in a high-quality reel bag for safe transport to the water. Thanks to a closed spool cage, the Greys Tail is also suitable for fishing with long, fine leaders - for example when Euro Nymphing. A price-performance winner for Trout and predator anglers!
