Rio Tarpon Technical Fly Line

The Tarpon Technical is the newest addition to RIO's saltwater series and designed for long, precise casts. Because even though Tarpon are amongst the biggest predators you can target on the fly and they know to impress with the brutal strength, in many cases a fine presentation is the key to success. Due to its long head with a length of 60 ft. (18,2 m) this line is just perfect to deliver your EP streamer, Tarpon Toad or other classic patterns like the Black Death just in front of the fish. More experienced Tarpon anglers will love this line allowing them long, controlled casts. The extra head length is ideal for fast pick-ups and 2nd shot casts too!

The line is built on tough, medium-stiff saltwater cores that will not wilt in the heat, and features a high-floating, AgentX coating for the very best in performance. The lines feature a 50lb core and enough breaking strength for the biggest Silver Kings out there.

A very interesting alternative to many short belly Tarpon lines on the market today. Thank you RIO!
