The Guideline ULS series for ultra-light Scandi fishing with a single-handed or switch rod has grown on us! As an alternative to the well-known ULS Multi Tip shooting head system, the Norwegians are now supplying a full line that is also matched from A to Z to the popular rod series. The advantage of a full line over a shooting head is particularly noticeable in stagnant or slow-flowing waters. In other words, when you strip your fly to just in front of your feet. Here, many fly fishermen find the less delicate transition between the shooting head and running line annoying. So now you have a free choice: shooting head or full line?

Every Guideline ULS Multi Tip fly line is supplied with a floating interchangeable tip with a length of 10 ft. (3 m). To cover different water depths and always offer your fly in the fishy area, you can fall back on the wide range of ULS interchangeable tips (10 ft. at 4 g) from Guideline. Thanks to the Loop-to-Loop connection, you can change the tip in seconds and adjust the depth. The club length of the ULS Multi Tip fly line is between 7 m and 7.5 m (including the interchangeable tip and the back taper of 1 m). Thanks to its compact design, this WF line is ideal for presentations with little backspace and serves your fly precisely to the target using a water anchor.

Triple Layer Technology & Direct Contact Core

This line features Guideline's innovative TLT technology, i.e. its coating is not the same over the entire length, but each section has three layers of different density and hardness. This results in better casting performance and longer durability. TLT allows the line to drift higher and repel more water than any Guideline fly line before. This line is built on a low-stretch monofilament core with only 6% stretch. This Direct Contact Core provides better control during presentation and optimised hook setting.
