Cortland Compact Sink Fly Line Sink9

The Cortland Compact Sink Fly Line is a real powerhouse. As its name suggests, it features an aggressive taper that allows for powerful casting even in demanding conditions such as wind and waves. In addition, its integrated running line has outstanding shooting characteristics, so you can effortlessly deliver even large flies towards the horizon - cast after cast. In combination with the short head, this enables fatigue-free casting with constant top performance. The slightly thicker handling section with a length of approx. 4 m represents a perfect transition between the belly and the running line. As well as a first-class power transfer during casting, it offers excellent grip, so you can generate record-breaking acceleration even with cold fingers.

Whether you're targeting Pike in the Bodden, Sea Trout on the Baltic coast or predators in tropical saltwater: The aggressive taper of the Cortland Compact fly line always delivers your flies to the target - and with extremely few false casts! By the way, in the low classes this compact belly line is ideal for fishing with weighted streamers on the Trout river.

The combination of an 8.5m Sink9 head and an intermediate running line makes this line a special solution for all freshwater and saltwater situations where you need to fish really, really deep. Apart from that, a first-class choice for ultra fast water when you want your streamer to stay down. It almost doesn't get any heavier than this!
