The name of this floating line from Climax already suggests it: The X-ACT is designed for very precise presentations and accurate casting. The very balanced taper of this WF line allows you to form tight loops and offers very precise casting control over all casting distances. Both overhead and water contact casts are effortless and with a gentle double haul the line shoots through the rings with minimal friction thanks to its smooth coating. In the low line classes, the Climax X-ACT is particularly suitable for stalking Trout, Grayling and co. on creeks and small rivers. Both dry flies and nymphs can be presented with pinpoint accuracy and the line can be mended cleanly thanks to its good floating properties - enormously important when a perfect drift decides between success and failure. In the higher classes, on the other hand, the line with its low-stretch, braided core is recommended for large rivers and stillwater fishing with long leaders. It can easily transport a streamer too!
The X-ACT from Climax is a modern WF line that has been developed especially for precise casting. The two-colour coating facilitates timing during the casting process and the green belly allows for a discreet presentationl.
