The medium length front taper allows the line to be used for dry fly fishing as well as nymphing or streaming. A 15m running line that is not too thick, but not too thin, offers just as many advantages. It shoots excellent through the rings, but is thick enough to mend the line in a controlled manner, correcting the drift of the nymph or directing the streamer in a different direction.
