The Cortland Tropic Heavy Sink (Sink 9) fly line features the ultra-strong 50 pound PLUS Core, which not only provides low stretch, but can also put the strong fish in their place. The Tropic Plus Heavy Sink was designed specifically for fishing these strong fighters and thanks to the fast sinking Sink 9 head, you can stalk the predators at all depths as well as the highest waves! The short powerful Sink 9 head is 9.14 meters long and convinces with enormous power, even with bushy, large flies and a noticeable wind. The head loads the rod very quickly, so that the fly can be presented perfectly after only a few false casts. The 9 ips quickly bring the fly to depth and the intermediate running line provides ideal bite detection and allows the hook to be set even at depth. The coating of the Tropic Plus is very easy to shoot and can withstand even the highest temperatures. All these factors make the Cortland Tropic Heavy Sink an excellent saltwater line in a class of its own.
