Rio Premier OutBound Short Fly Line Sinking

The latest generation of the popular Rio OutBound Short is here! The perfect line when it comes to quickly loading your rod with few empty casts. The Outbound Short has been an absolute favorite among predator anglers for many years and rightly so, because the compact taper loads your rod effortlessly even with large, bushy and weighted flies. Whether you're targeting trout, bass, zander, pike or catfish, the Premier Outbound Short is the ultimate all-around line for any application where you fish big flies. Within the compact head, the weight is shifted forward for a strong "turn-over effect" that delivers those massive flies with easy. A perfect predator line in fact!

The compact bally quickly transitions into the supple running line, which has incredibly good shooting properties thanks to the ultra-smooth SlickCast coating. In practice, this allows particularly long casts with few false casts or with limited backspace. In confined areas, on sheet pile walls, reed belts, with dense bank vegetation or on urban canals, this property comes in incredibly handy.

So if you're looking for a shooting head type line, the Rio Premier Outbound Short series has everything you need - from the floating variety to the full sinker when the fly needs to go really deep. What we like most about the new Premier Outbound is that not only does it come in many different sink rates that cover all areas of use, the sink rate is graduated along the length of the line for even more control thanks to Multi Density Control (3D) technology.

Extra Fast Sinking - Sink7: This extra fast full sinker has the sinking rate S7 over the entire length of the line. Not without reason it is also called "Dredger" line. A line with which you fish to maximum depth. Whether fishing for pike or zander, in the fjords of Norway for big cod, or along structure-rich reef edges for blue water giants. And that's exactly why Rio has added an extra 3 meters to this special line. So, if your special fishing application with big flies requires maximum depth, the Premier Outbound Short in Extra-Fast Sinking is just the line for you.

Rio Technology: Slick Cast
The name says it all! With this new technology, Rio has really shaken up the fly line market. Rio itself promotes it as the smoothest coating on the market. Shootability, noise minimization and durability of the line are improved. We ourselves found the lines so smooth that we had to rein ourselves in a bit at first to avoid overshooting the metaphorical mark. So we can subscribe to Rio's claim.
