Guideline ULS 3D+ shooting heads have been designet for ultra light Scandi style fishing. Their powerful taper provides plenty of turnover to effortlessly present weighted or bulky flies – even on very light tackle. Hence, these shooting heads are best suited for single-handed, light double-handed and switch rods. The lines will excel in streamer fishing and classical swinging techniques as well as in presenting wind resistant dries or heavy nymphing rigs. With a length of only 6,2 meters ULS 3D+ are exceptionally easy to maneuver in tight spots, yet will yield great distances to search lots of water. All Triple D+ shooting heads have three different densities which seemlessly transition into each other with a perfectly smooth, even and slick surface- the line density increases towards the tip of the line and so does the sinking rate. Therefore, the less dense rear-taper floats higher in the water column than the denser tip. This feature results in easy line pickup and more efficient casting as well as in much improved contact to the fly and depth control during the swing. Additionally the less deep swimming rear belly reduces the risk of mid line snags during the end of the swing. These Tips can be fished without additional tips and are available from line class #4 to #8 and in a huge variety of sinking rates to meet every fishing situation out there.
