Guideline Skagit Tips 15 ft
When it comes to bringing your salmon, steelhead or sea trout flies to depth in strong current, T-Tips in combination with a Skagit shooting head are just the right solution. T-Tips (Tungsten Tips) are designed to complement your compact Skagit line systems. On the one hand they bring the fly to depth, on the other hand they have enough power to turn over even weighted flies easily.
Guideline Skagit T-Tips are made from the fastest sinking Tungsten Compoung material available. With tips ranging from T6 to T18, you can choose from sink rates of 7ips (18 cm/s) to a full 10ips (25 cm/s). The tips come in a 15 ft. (4.5 m) length, but can be cut back individually if needed, as they are not tapered. The sink tips are universal and work on most skagit systems for two-handed rods.
Tip: We recommend the tips from T10 - T18 on two-handed rods of class 8 and heavier, while the lighter T6 tips can also be cast excellently on light two-handed and switch rods.
