Vision Hybrid Tapered Tips 10ft.
Vision Hybrid Tapered Tips are designed for fishing with shooting heads, giving you the ability to easily switch tips for the desired sink rate to match the fly and water you’re fishing. The Hybrid Tapered Tips from Vision can combine with any shooting head that features a loop connection. Vision's product developers have spent a long time honing this system and present a complete range of tips to cover all the typical scenarios, from single-hand fly fishing on shorelines and rivers, to switch rods, to heavy two-handed rods for large Salmon.
The sinking Hybrid Tapered Tips are based on Vision's Sliding Density technology, where the sink rate to the tip is steadily increasing. Only the clear intermediate tip has a continuous sink rate. All Hybrid Tapered Tips have welded loops on both ends for a quick change and have a small line ID printed on the front loop with the sink rate and length. When choosing a suitable tip for your shooting head, you can easily identify the tip you need by the printed line ID.
Hybrid Tips with a length of 10ft. can, in principle, be combined with any shooting head. However, we recommend these tips primarily for use on one-hand and switch rods.
