Rio Skagit iMOW Heavy Tip T14

Rio's Skagit iMOW Heavy Tips are the ideal complement to any Skagit-style line with multi-density properties or shooting heads such as Rio Skagit Max products.

Designed for casting large flies, the different densities of the tips blend seamlessly to provide each iMOW Tip with unique intermediate sink behavior. Each iMOW tip is 10' (3.05 m) long, of which 2.5' (0.76 m), 5' (1.5 m), 7.5' (2.2 m) or the entire 10' are made up of an intermediate section. The iMOW Heavy-Tip then transitions to a T-14 sinker section that sinks at approximately 20 - 22 cm per second. By changing from an intermediate to a sink tip, iMOW tips are great for float or intermediate heads as well as lines. The seamless transition and even sink of the combination gives you incredible control to the fly or tube.

A color coded sleeve is welded to the rear of the tip to identify the weight, and all other pertinent information about your tip permanently manifested. Three different designs, light, medium and heavy tip let you decide on the sinking characteristics of your line. The heavy tips are suitable for heads around 575 - 675 gr (37-43 g).
