Braided Loops are a practical, fast, and secure way to connect fly line and leader.
The Minicon Trout loops are made of double-braided nylon with a reinforced wall. This ensures the best breaking strength, durability, and undisturbed energy transfer to the leader. They are simply pulled onto the end of the fly line, secured with the included shrink tube, and can be additionally secured with a drop of super glue. They are also very short, leading to less water absorption and making the transition even more seamless. The shrink tube is colored red to better detect bites.
A loop-to-loop connection between the tapered leader and the fly line is then no problem at all! In our opinion, the Minicon Braided Loops by Roman Moser are among the best on the market.
