Soldarini Tapered Euronymph Leader thin 15 ft fluo pink

This 'Tapered Euro Nymph Leader' by Soldarini is very versatile due to its length of 15 ft (4.5 m). It can be used for modern nymphing techniques such as tight line nymphing, as well as for fine nymph fishing with greased line nymphing or even for dry fly fishing. Made from a special monofilament, it has very low stretch, highest abrasion resistance, and despite its length, it shows no memory. The advantages are clear: even the smallest nymphs can be cast accurately, and it is much easier to establish contact with the bait than with traditional leaders. The taper is designed so that even the smallest CDC patterns can be brought accurately to the target.

The length of 15 ft. is very versatile! Unlike the 30 ft version, dry flies can also be cast cleanly with this one - should a good fish start rising in between. When nymph fishing, it still allows for long drifts and increases the fishable radius. Due to the ideal tip diameter of this leader, an additional sighter or two-tone indicator of appropriate strength can be easily added. For dry fly fishing, we recommend extending the leader with a short piece of invisible mono or fluorocarbon to minimize spooking. This 'pink' version is particularly visible, making tracking the drift even easier, especially when combined with a sighter.
