The adh-fishing Sea Trout Fly - All Season was created for a very specific reason. We needed a fly pattern to explore new places. That means a fly that we trust a lot to find out as fast as possible if there are fish at the spot. That means we were looking for a pattern that would represent as many prey as possible, not get tangled and also be effective! After a few patterns and many changes, the All Season sea trout fly was created. The fly features a lead wrap under the material to sink perfectly and always fish under the wave where it is visible. The slightly softer tail of the fly provides some movement and attraction, but at the same time is somewhat supported by the last body hackle to avoid wrapping around the hook. A fine body hackle forms the perfect silhouette between the two slightly larger hackles in the color of the fly. The fly was tied on our best seller on the coast, the Gamakatsu F314.
The All Season sea trout fly is the all-around fly par excellence. It cannot twist or snag, always fishes at the right depth, and imitates a wide variety of prey. The All Season is purposely tied without UV or large amounts of flash so as not to spook fish too much when the sun is shining. As a result, the pattern is fishable all year, in any condition and has quickly gained our trust as a go-to fly!
