The Hotspot Hares Ear Jig is our answer to a classic Hare's Ear, imitating a mayfly. The benefits of a tungsten bead, jig hook and UV dubbing thorax turn a timeless classic into a modern, catchier and extremely versatile nymph. An absolute constant in our fly box, from spring to autumn and often our first choice when we get to the water. This nymph works particularly well on trout and barbel, but due to the hot spot the pattern is also a great choice for grayling in autumn or winter.
