Gammarids are abundant in most of our local streams and form a major component of the diet of many salmonids. The Czech Nymph Fly Selection is therefore the perfect fly selection for nymph fishing on waters with many scuds, as they imitate exactly this food. The set offers you a great selection of neatly tied Czech Nymph patterns in different colors and sizes. Muted and natural colors are the perfect choice for fishing on bright days with more difficult conditions, e.g. in very clear and calm water. We like to go for the patterns in bright colors when the water is a bit cloudy or very cold, for example at the beginning of the season after a rain shower. Especially in the crystal-clear alpine waters of southern Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy and Slovenia, these patterns have often proved to be incredibly effective. But also in our local lowland rivers, these classic nymph patterns have already tricked countless large trout and grayling. 

The bodies of the flies are tied in the classic way with a shell back and they sink naturally. You can fish them perfectly on a long, greased leader, on a strike indicator or, for example, as a dropper fly on your Euronymphing leader.
