The Runes Midge Emerger is a filigree dry fly for imitating a rising Midge. Due to the tying style and curved hook shank, this pattern sits deep in the surface film and is most suitable for chasing Trout in slow-moving waters and stillwater scenarios. For the presentation, we recommend long, thin leaders and a drop of CDC oil, which should be carefully applied with the fingertips to the CDC wing. A pattern for the professors among the trout and grayling anglers :)
