The Superpuppen is a very popular dry fly originating in Sweden that imitates a hatching caddis larvae trying to reach the safety of the river bank – an easy prey for trout, grayling, char, chub... you name it! The Superpuppen can be fished classically upstream, “down and across” and even above a heavy dropper nymph this fly is highly effective.
When fished dry the Superpuppen sits deep in the film – a presentation especially grayling can hardly resist.
