Spectra Dubbing is a very popular synthetic material amongst fly tyers, which can be used in individually or in combination with other (natural) products to create great looking effects. For example as a substitute for peacock herl or mixed with hare's ear dubbing to add extra shine - even in small amounts.
In contrast to many other synthetic materials the Fine Spectra Flash Dubbing can be portionied sparely but still offers length when brushed out - if wished. Therefor you can use it for much more than just forming body or thorax of nymph patterns, e.g. for streamers.
The big range of different colors allows to tie imitative and attractive patterns.
