Product information "EZ Hackle Plier"
The so-called "hackling" of feathers is a quite demanding tying step, where a good panting clamp is a real relief. The materials such as quill, tinsel or quills are securely clamped with a small clamp so that the material is guided around the hook. With the EZ Hakle Plier, the small metal hook is placed around the quill and pulled into the device. This secures and "holds" the hackle so that it, along with the hackle clamp, can be easily tied around the hook. The EZ Hackle plier is also suitable for twisting and tying in dubbing loops.
