The Echo Fiberglass Spey is a two-handed rod made of high-quality fiberglass with a deep-loading, continuous action - just as you would expect from a real glass rod. The olive green blank runs harmoniously through the entire design of the rod and can even be found in the matching rod tube. Black windings and elegant chrome rings complete the harmonious overall look. The black reel seat is framed by elegant hand parts made of premium cork, and two lock nuts on the reel seat guarantee a firm hold on the reel - all day long. The rod tube included in the scope of delivery is also made of fiberglass and fits perfectly into the overall picture.
Despite its classic material, the Fiberglass Spey is anything but sluggish or spongy. It is a modern, powerful rod with a deep-loading action - ideal for long casts with a lot of feeling. The 12 ft #7 version masters everything between 30 and 34 g - whether shooting heads or full lines. If you want to exploit the full potential of this rod, combine it with a Skagit head around 540 grain. The 11.10 ft #6 version performs optimally with lines between 25 and 28 g, but also copes well with a 30 g Skagit head.
