The Jaws of each Dyna-King are the heart of the tying vise. After all, the dissatisfaction of bad clamping jaws was the start of the career for Dyna-King.
Even with exuberant pressure on the thread or fly, the hook does not move a bit between the jaws of a Dyna-King. The jaws are suitable for hooks of different sizes and thicknesses. In addition, the jaws offer two semicircular guides. One for very large and thick wire hooks, such as saltwater hooks and one for medium hooks for tying trout streamers or similar fly patterns. The semicircular cutouts enclose the hook from both sides in each case and thus ensure a bombproof fit! Especially small hooks for nymphs or dry flies find room in the tips of the jaws and even these would rather bend before the hooks move between the hardened tool steel. The clamping force of these jaws and the tight fit of the hook are stunning.
