The Euro Tactical Nymph Braid DT is a special DT line from Scientific Anglers for modern nymphing techniques with a tight line. It has a very thin diameter which tapers down to 0,56 mm at the tips. This provides many advantages for modern nymphing techniques such as Euro-, Czech- or French-Nymphing. In fact, its special design allows a very precise presentation of one or multiple nymphs. Due to its thin diameter, it creates almost no slack when presenting a nymph with a tight line. In combination with a braided core without stretch, this provides an incredibly sensitive strike detection. Therefore, you will notice even the softest takes. Further, the extremely thin tip sections prevent unnecessary air resistance and drag in the water. Thus, when combined with a matching nymph leader, it allows incredibly precise presentations. Due to its DT design, the diameter increases slightly towards the middle of the line. This actually allows delicate overhead casts. So, in case you spot a rising fish, you can simply attach a dry fly leader to the tip of this line in order to present a dry fly in a very precise way – without having to carry a second rod.
