The Daiwa Procyon Travel Spin is a travel rod that can be carried in any suitcase. Whether on the family vacation or yet specifically to the next distant fishing trip. The rod is like all products from Daiwa well thought out and based on long practical experience. It is a beautiful and chic four-piece spinning rod that can be fished very well with reel sizes of 3000 or bigger. Both models have Seaguide rings, a Daiwa Air Sensor reel seat and a classy EVA splitgrip. Many anglers have concerns about a faltering action with multi-piece rods, but these rods easily make up for it thanks to their HFV carbon fibre blank and X45 technology.
The lighter version has a casting weight of 15-50g and a length of 240cm. Due to its 4 parts it has a transport length of 67cm and can be easily stored in many luggage or can lie in the car to turn a quick afterwork fishing trip. It serves all common baits and is a nice all-round rod that copes well with zander, pike and perch but of course also with sea trout, cod, mullet or tropical fish.
The heavier version has a casting weight of 30-70g and a length of 270cm. It has a transport length of 75cm and thus fits in many large luggage. It is of course also an excellent rod to go after pike and zander but has enough backbone to compete with Mediterranean or tropical fish.
