The Luvias Airity LT is the lightest spinning reel Daiwa has ever developed. The reel from the LT-series (light & tough) sets new standards in term of reliability and strength through the magnesium reel body and the MQ housing construction, all with an extremely low weight of only 170 grams.
The Air Metal Monocoque Magnesium reel body is a one-piece reel body, eliminating the need to use screws for connection. As a result, the reel body offers more space for a more powerful gear while maintaining the same size. This is one of the key aspects of why the reel can combine such a fabulously light weight, with such performance.
The CNC machined Tough Digigear is Daiwa's well-known and extremely precise gearbox, which ensures a very smooth, powerful and precise running of the reel. In combination with the Zaion Air Rotor System, which improves the balance and rotation of the reel, Daiwa has brought a reel to the market, which is unparalleled with its smooth running. The Cross-Wrap system offers a precise wrapping of the line and thus ensures that greater casting distances can be achieved and the risk of backlashes are minimized. Also, CNC-machined is the semi-deep aluminum spool, which additionally increases the casting distance and is ideal for the use of braided lines.
But the Luvias Airity not only convinces with a very quiet and low-vibration operation, but also impresses with excellent robustness and performance. The well-known ATD drag system runs with the lowest starting resistance and generates a drag force of up to 10 kg, which stops even the strongest predatory fish safely in their escapes.
The reel is completely manufactured in Japan and combines the highest demands on performance, high quality components and a very low weight. A true high-end reel with silky smooth running, which is comparable with hardly anything else.
