The MQ reel body technology allows the use of a larger gear which is significantly stronger and more resilient than conventional gear designs and ensures optimum retrieving power. The special design of the gear teeth significantly improves the smoothness and durability of the gear unit. The gear unit is securely mounted in a torsion-resistant Zaion V reel body, which is reliably protected against the ingress of water and dirt particles thanks to the MagSealed design. For even more casts provides the CNC machined Longcast aluminum spool with a specially designed release edge, which offers the line less frictional resistance and makes it slide off the spool easier.
The Caldia MQ is rounded off with the finely adjustable ATD brake. This provides high braking force as well as a smooth and stutter-free release of the line without starting resistance. Optimal when using thin lines and in critical drilling situations.
