The Daiwa LT concept, "Light & Tough" stands for the highest quality standards and optimum smoothness at low weight.
With the Airity LT, Daiwa has succeeded in designing an ultra light and extremely stable reel, which is able to withstand the stresses of spin fishing permanently.
This high performance is achieved by the special Monocoque® housing construction in combination with the usual qualitative components. The Monocoque® technology together with the ZAION® material allows, through the one-piece construction, to better withstand attacking force, resulting in low weight and at the same time enormous torsional strength. The space thus freed up in the housing is cleverly utilized with an extra-large, TOUGH DIGIGEAR® gear. The larger gear wheel defies the acting forces during active fishing much better, guaranteeing silky smooth running and durability at the same time. The Cross Wrap® line routing in combination with the Twist Buster® II line roller ensures a perfect distribution of the line in the spool body, resulting in less line rattling and effective use of precious fishing time. Durability and smooth running also benefit from the MAGSEALED® body construction, which prevents water and particles from penetrating.
When fishing, long casts are no problem thanks to the improved casting edge of the Longcast ABS® aluminum spool.
This outstanding result of engineering is rounded off with the proven ATD™ braking system and an ergonomic Hi-Grip crank knob and guarantees long-lasting pleasure during countless drills.
