Costa Polarized Glasses Cat Cay Blackout (Blue Mirror 580G)

The sporty design of the Costa'Cat Cay' has a patented ventilation system that allows moisture to escape quickly and thus prevents the lenses from fogging up on the inside - even with a Buff. Ideal for a trip to the tropics, on warm summer days or if you do work up a sweat when fighting a monster fish. The frame and temples are made from an extremely lightweight yet extremely hard-wearing nylon composite material. Thanks to flexible hinges, the pressure of the temples is adapted to the shape of your head. The rubberised nose and temple pads made from exclusive Hydrolite™ also ensure a very comfortable fit and a perfect fit. The patented 580G lenses offer your eyes maximum protection against aggressive UV radiation and reduce light reflections on the surface of the water, which can cause eye fatigue.

Blue Mirror:
As with all Costa lenses, the polarisation effect of these tints is impressive! The blue-mirrored lens is ideal for open sea fishing when the sun is particularly strongly reflected. In addition, blue and green mirrored lenses are very popular for sight fishing in saltwater when it comes to spotting bonefish, permit and the like on the flats at an early stage. The biggest advantage of these tints is that contrasts are noticeably enhanced, which not only makes it easier to recognise the bright fish on the light-coloured bottom, but also makes it easier to spot structures. When fishing at home, these tints are very good both on the coast for sea trout and on lakes for pike and other predators. Overall, the blue-mirrored lenses are slightly darker.
