The completely redesigned Guide Series remains true to the strengths of the highly successful original version: a rod with a fast yet sensitive action and quick recovery, built from high-modulus carbon fiber. Backing and floating WF line with welded front loop are already mounted on a functional Large Arbor design reel that features an adjustable brake. All that's missing is a fly, which you knot to the tapered nylon leader. And then you can start the exciting fishing for our local trout and grayling on the stream and river!
The fly rods material, typically found only in premium classes, delivers an impressively light feel and exceptional precision with every cast. Visually, the new Guide Series has also evolved: the new models feature upgraded cork handles and an optimized blank design that forgoes excess coatings in favor of a simple matte finish — maximizing performance and offering honest feedback.
The 10ft #4 version is equipped with a fighting butt and a down-locking reel seat, unlike the 8- and 9ft versions. This shifts the balance slightly to the rear, resulting in improved overall rod balance.
