With the new Alta Boot Guideline offers a premium class wading boot that competes in the league of highly functional and robust wading boots for enthusiasts and all those spending countless days on the water per season.
The Alta Boot comes with a multi-layer sole design featuring ergonomically shaped EVA insoles and cushioning Texon™ midsoles that are build on a molded PU base for maximum comfort and a secure foothold. The super robust yet lightweight PVC outer material dries quickly and can take quite some abuse. High wear areas are additionally reinforced with rubber which generates further protection for your toes. The interior of the boot is lined with Lycra and Neoprene to increase comfort and reduce friction against the stockings of your waders.
The Alta Wading Boot felt comes with a classical felt outsole which offers great traction on slippery rocks and boulders and even grips on algae overgrown surfaces. In case you are looking for maximum grip both on land and underwater for example for clearing steep banks we recommend the additional use of spikes or studs.

Tip: To maximize the grip of a felt sole and minimize unnecessary wear on roads or similar surfaces, the use of spikes can help. The spikes provide a particularly good grip on different structures and relieve the felt sole on normal paths when you don't need it. This increases the life of the felt sole and you can wade and fish longer, safer!
