Whether before, during or after a day on the water, the R2 TechFace Pants from Patagonia impress with their warm, moisture-repellent and breathable material and features specifically developed for fly fishers. The perfect midlayer for cold weather and cold water, these robust, multifunctional pants prove themselves both as an insulating layer when wading and on their own as warm, durable pants.
The exceptionally warm highloft doubleweave fabric of the R2 TechFace Pants is soft against the skin and allows excess heat to escape. The outer side has a DWR (durable water repellent) impregnation and repels moisture. Two zipped leg pockets keep important items close at hand, and an accessory loop on the right side of the waistband keeps a pair of scissors handy. Reinforcements on the seat and thighs increase the durability of the trousers and prevent pilling where the waders chafe on the material. The fit is optimised for combination with waders. The slim ankle cuffs, which fit comfortably over or inside socks, ensure a good fit under the waders.
Are you looking for a versatile, warm pair of functional trousers that you can wear under your waders or off the water? Then the R2 TechFance Pants from Patagonia are the perfect choice. A great addition to the tried and tested R2 tops and for us the ideal midlayer.

Established back in 1973, Patagonia stands for sustainable and functional outdoor clothing. This impressive selection also includes a fantastic range of high-quality wading gear. In addition to reliable waders, wading jackets and wading boots, Patagonia offers a variety of practice-oriented backpacks and packs. As a co-founder of the "One Percent for the Planet" movement, Patagonia has been donating around 1% of its annual revenue to environmental organisations since 2002. By transferring the entire company shares, this inspiring brand set new standards in terms of sustainability. The “Earth is now our only shareholder” represented by the Patagonia Purpose Trust and the non-profit organisation Holdfast Collective. From now on, all profits – except for the money that is reinvested in the company – will be used to fight the environmental crisis and save the planet. In short: The high-quality products from Patagonia are always a great choice for environmentally conscious men and women who love fly fishing!
