It is both high performance and responsibly made with NetPlus®, a 100% recycled nylon ripstop made from recycled fishing nets to reduce plastic pollution in the oceans. The jacket also has a PFC-free DWR coating (permanently water-repellent coating without perfluorinated chemicals). This provides additional weather protection. The Granite Crest meets the demanding H2No™ Performance Standards for waterproof/breathable protection and is Fair Trade Certified™ sewn.

The wide range of features of the Patagonia Granite Crest Jacket includes a two-way adjustable hood with visor. The hood is completely waterproof and can be adjusted in two directions to ensure good visibility with or without headwear even in poor visibility conditions. On the front, the jacket offers a full-length zip and a practical chest pocket with waterproof zips to protect small items. The two welted handwarmer pockets are set slightly higher, so you can wade deeper or keep your hands warm even though you're wearing a backpack. There are two-way waterproof zips under the arms for ventilation. The drawcord at the hem can be easily adjusted and the arm cuffs can be individually adjusted with Velcro. The minimal pack size of this functional jacket means you can stow it in the left pocket. Very practical for on the go and trips where you have to manage with little luggage.
