From the slightly windy autumn day to the hardest sleet in the deepest winter, the 3in1 Parka from Patagonia masters both with flying colors. The 2-layer parka offers namely the ingenious possibility to wear the down-lined inner coat or the wind and waterproof outer coat separately! Thus, the parka can be perfectly adapted to all conditions individually. And should you be outside on the coldest days of the year, the jackets are simply worn together.
Thanks to the DWR coating on the breathable material, water and snow simply roll off the outer material. The hands find space on such icy days in the zippered and internally lined pockets of the parka, in which valuables can be stored just as well. At the front of the coat is a high-quality two-way zipper, which is of course water-repellent and also has a wind strip, which can also be closed with snaps. This ensures that no moisture or cold can penetrate even at the zipper. In rain and cold wind additionally protects the hood. It is attached to the jacket with snaps and a zipper and can be easily removed when not in use. Put on it can be easily adjusted with the drawstrings on the head, so that the wind has no possibility to penetrate into the parka.
For heat retention, the inner coat is made of down, which can be attached or removed with a zipper in the outer coat. The inner coat was lined with down from reclaimed down products, which have a bulking power of 700 cuin and is thus made from 100% recycled down. The coat can of course be easily worn separately on mild days and thus serves perfectly as a transitional parka.
