Chenille is a universal material for quick and easy tying of bodies. To do this, the strand is first fixed on the hook shank, then wound forward and finally caught with the tying thread. This way, dense, even bodies with a great structure are created in just a few seconds.
Due to its texture and the length of its synthetic fibres the Chewing Gum Chenille is perfectly suited for tying worms, room pens and other patterns for fishing trout, grayling and chub. It is also very suitable as a body material for various nymphs - e.g. for a peeping caddis. Due to the high durability of this chenille you can expect a long life of your flies.
