The innovative Airflo Rage Compact is an extremely successful cross between a Scandi and a Skagit shooting head - and as you would expect, it combines the advantages of both concepts!
Its unique design consists of a compact belly, a medium length front taper and a slightly stronger tip that transports and cleanly unwinds all types of leaders - from poly leaders to T-tips. As a result, this shooting head offers maximum flexibility for an adaptable setup and effective fishing. Thanks to this design, it is surprisingly easy to cast and forgives you for slightly messy anchors if the space available does not allow otherwise. In contrast to Skagit shooting heads, the Rage Compact can be cast not only with a water anchor, but with all two-handed casting styles. It is also much more assertive against the wind than conventional Scandi shooting heads and still allows sensitive presentations in the Scandinavian style.
