Weekend trip sea trout fishing with Martin Rieck

Are you travelling a long way, but want to gain your first experience on the coast or deepen your knowledge of sea trout? Then our sea trout weekend seminar with Martin Rieck is just the thing for you!

The sea trout seminar with Martin takes place on the Danish island of Als in the Baltic Sea. Housed in a cosy holiday home, everything revolves around the topic of sea trout for two full days and nights - and exclusively with a maximum of two participants! Intensive support, plenty of room for personal questions and sufficient space on the water are at the forefront of our sea trout weekend.

On the island of Alsen and the surrounding area, you will find a particularly wide range of opportunities for successful fly fishing for sea trout. In addition to the open east coast, there are many small bays and fjords in the west of the island, so you can find the right spot in any conditions. The sea trout hot spots are also extremely varied. From shallow bays with sand to seagrass meadows and leopard-grass beds to deep, sloping banks, everything is there.

The two-day workshop offers us the opportunity to fish as many different spots as possible, depending on the conditions, and to share as much experience as possible. In addition to the goal of catching a sea trout together, all the basic topics about sea trout and their habitat are discussed in order to apply the experience about the fish and their behaviour to the respective choice of spot and bait on the fishing day.

Accommodation

We are accommodated in a cosy holiday flat close to the coast - so the distances to the best fishing spots are pleasantly short.

The house also offers the ideal setting to review the day together, exchange experiences and let your waders dry in peace. Each guest has their own bedroom to retreat to and dream. The number of participants is limited to two, so that an intensive workshop with personal dialogue is guaranteed.

The holiday flat is equipped with all the necessary extras for a relaxing weekend. Towels and bed linen are of course included - nothing is missing.

The following main topics are covered:

The correct assessment of the conditions (weather and water)
The right choice of spot (both according to the season and the current conditions on the day of fishing)
The right choice of bait and bait presentation
Recognising potential sea trout spots
How do I fish properly for sea trout?
Answering individual customer questions

The topics will be discussed both while fishing together and in the evening in the accommodation and can be expanded on in any way, even if questions are not related to sea trout.

The workshop is aimed at both beginners and advanced fly fishermen. However, basic knowledge of fly casting is a prerequisite, as this is not a pure casting course. Spin fishermen who want to experience the start of sea trout fishing are also very welcome on my course.

The maximum number of participants per session is 2.
