After developing the Ahku, Flada, Leka, Meri, and Tiraphene rod series, AAVA's goal was to create a new rod series not primarily focused on target fish species, but entirely tailored to specific fishing styles, techniques, and needs.
The Tyyli rods were developed by AAVA with a clear focus on a particular fishing style or need. AAVA's Tyyli series offers rods for various types of hard bait fishing, finesse rods for Ned Rig and Drop Shot, and boat fishing for perch. The blanks are made of high-modulus graphite combined with a graphene-reinforced resin, making the rods light, sensitive, and with a fast recovery. The rod actions vary greatly, as they were designed by AAVA for different applications. For example, the finesse rods are very fast with a sensitive tip to ensure no bite goes unnoticed. The rods for hard bait fishing, however, are softer to prevent fish from tearing out, even with small treble hooks. The components were carefully selected by AAVA for the different styles, from grip lengths to rod ring sizes.
