After the development of the Ahku, Flada, Leka, Meri, and Tiraphene series, AAVA's goal was to create a new rod line that is not primarily oriented towards target fish species, but is completely tailored to specific fishing styles, techniques, and needs.
The Tyyli rods were developed by AAVA with a clear focus on a particular fishing style or requirement. The AAVA Tyyli series offers rods for various types of hardbait fishing, finesse rods for Ned Rig and Drop Shot, as well as multi-piece rods for hiking and travel. The blanks consist of high-modulus graphite combined with a graphene-reinforced resin, making the rods light, sensitive, and equipped with a fast recovery speed. The rod actions vary significantly as they were designed by AAVA for different applications. For example, the finesse rods are very fast with a sensitive tip to ensure no bite goes unnoticed. In contrast, the hardbait rods are softer to prevent fish from throwing the hook, even when using small trebles. The components were carefully selected by AAVA for the various styles, from the handle lengths to the size of the guides.
