After developing the Ahku, Flada, Leka, Meri, and Tiraphene rod series, AAVA's goal was to create a new rod series that wasn't primarily focused on target fish species, but rather entirely tailored to specific fishing styles, techniques, and needs.
The Tyyli rods were developed by AAVA with a clear focus on a specific fishing style or requirement. The Tyyli series from AAVA offers rods for various types of hardbait fishing, finesse rods for Ned Rig and Drop Shot, as well as multi-piece rods for hiking and travel. The blanks are made from high-modulus graphite combined with graphene-reinforced resin, which makes the rods light, sensitive, and equipped with fast recovery. The rod actions vary significantly as they were designed by AAVA for different applications. For example, the finesse rods are very fast with a sensitive tip to ensure no bite goes unnoticed. The rods for hardbait fishing, on the other hand, are softer to prevent fish from tearing out, even with small treble hooks. The components were carefully selected by AAVA for the various styles, from handle lengths to rod guide sizes.
The Tyyli Baitcast series includes four different models, specifically designed for anglers who prefer to target local predatory fish with a baitcast reel.
