Veniard Mole Skin Fur

The fur of a mole is very soft and is perfect for using as dubbing. The black hair has a natural shine and gives your dry fly, nymph, or wet fly a very realistic look. They can be easily put on the tying thread and dubbed perfectly - if necessary, you can apply some wax on the thread or use a dubbing loop, depending on the needs of your pattern. Thin dubbing strands can be achieved with this natural material, so you can tie very fine flies, with a body or thorax made of Mole fur, such as ant patterns. The coat is so full that you will have a great dubbing source for years to come. Of course, the natural fur can also be mixed with synthetic fibers, for example with UV-active dubbing to achieve different results, to tie your very own creations.

In addition to rabbit and squirrel fur, a mole fur also deserves a place in your natural tying materials collection. Each fiber varies in length depending on the part of the coat, allowing you to always find the perfect choice for the pattern you’re tying.

Of course, the quality of this fur from Veniard is first class - a great addition to a well-stocked tying arsenal.
