Wapsi SLF Saltwater Dubbing

Wapsi’s SLF Saltwater Dubbing is simply a must-have for every streamer and Sea Trout fisherman! The saltwater dubbing fiber is slightly longer than the normal SLF dubbing fibers, but it also consists of some additional synthetic fibers.

SLF Saltwater Dubbing is a very easy-to-use material that adds a wonderful effect to your patterns. Especially when twisted in a dubbing loop and then brushed out with a Velcro dubbing brush, you can create a beautiful translucent body with a great action in the water. When your fly is dry, sitting in your vice it will look very good, but the true effects only truly become fully realized once your fly is in the water! SLF Saltwater Dubbing becomes semi-transparent in the water, which looks incredibly natural, whether in baitfish imitations or shrimp patterns.

Especially Sea Trout fisherman will be delighted by the variety of great colors, which can imitate nearly any type of the Sea Trout’s diet. The beautiful beige and sand tones are perfect for incredibly natural looking shrimp patterns. The brighter colors will delight any streamer fly tyer. One of the most famous Sea Trout flies of recent years, the Pattegrisen, is tied with SLF Saltwater Dubbing in the color Fluo Shell Pink - a true testament to this material, because the Pattegrisen accounts for many fish on the Baltic coast every year!

SLF Saltwater Dubbing has a slight sheen and can be mixed well with each other or with other dubbing.

For example, mixed with SLF Prism Dubbing you can add small reflex points, which is very eye-catching under water. You can either mix it sparsely or add a good amount, letting you decide exactly how much flash you want in your patterns, for any water conditions.

SLF Saltwater Dubbing is simply one of the best dubbing on the market, and a must have for any fly tyer!
